Why depression is common

Be Sociable, Share!

Let’s face it, this world is one fucked up place. We are raised up unaware of all the horror that is happening everyday outside our little bubble. Then one day we realize that this world isn’t so nice and we are expected to grow up and face this mess that we call life.

Why would you want to bring another person into this world? how selfish would that be to make another soul go through this hell that life is?

There are people that go through life thinking that this is just the way life works and they accept it like anything else. These people follow the rules set by society and they do so until they die. Many on the other hand decide to cut the journey short and leave this shit book and it is a shit book. We eat, breath, shit and sleep and then we die.

Now if people commit suicide they are labeled selfish because they leave their families in trauma and distress. The thing is that people who commit suicide are so much more aware of how life works and they realize how futile this whole system is that there really is no turning back for these people.

People are selfish and they think about themselves before anyone else, even your mother. This makes trusting anyone very hard and that is why you shouldn’t. People are ready to betray at the blink of an eye if they gain something from it.

Stepparents would save their own children from a burning building before they would save their stepchildren.

There are adults that want to have sex with children and they don’t see anything wrong with it. They repeatedly ruin the lives of countless children before being caught.

There are people that make fun of disabled people and encourage others to do so with success. As if these people chose to be born like this.

The only way to be successful in this world is to betray others.

All the poverty, hunger, murder, rape and terror, how can you not be depressed?

These are just a few examples why depression is common.

Stay with your parents as long as you can

Be Sociable, Share!

There are several very good reasons why you should consider staying at home with your parents as long as you possibly can. While this may seem like an immature decision and that some people need some growing up to do you really should stop right there and consider the upsides as opposed to moving out and starting to take care of your own. Stay with your parents as long as you can.

Stay with your parents as long as you can

Staying at home

Pros of staying at home:

  • Free food
  • Free Internet
  • Free place to sleep
  • No bills (althought its curtageous to help your parents out)
  • Head start on education because you have no house or family to tend to.
  • No cleaning of the house (only whatever mess you leave behind)
  • less stress that you will make ends meet at the end of the month
  • More spending cash to do whatever you want to do

Cons of staying at home:

  • People will think you are immature (but who cares?)
  • Less likely to get a girlfriend/boyfriend, marry and have kids (There is plenty of time for that later on when you move out and have a decent sum of money in the bank and a good educational background)

Having your own place

Pros of having your own place:

  • Freedom to do whatever you want to do in the privacy of your own home
  • People will look at you as if you were an adult and respect you more
  • You can have wild parties and make more noise then you could at your parents
  • You can have pets
  • You can come home late and not worry if you wake someone up
  • more likely to get a girlfriend/boyfriend, marry and have kids

Cons of having your own place:

  • Bills to pay and loan of the house
  • Less spending cash to do whatever you want to do
  • Cleaning of the house
  • Internet bills
  • Buy groceries and cook your own food
  • Take care of the kids (if you have a family)
  • Stress to make ends meet at the end of the month

You should definately stay with your parents as long as you can. Be independent and don’t mind all the people that think you are odd for doing so because they chose to move out at an early age. These people don’t get the same opportunites in life.

Stay with your parents, make some money and help your parents out a little since you love them and it’s the right thing to do.

Don’t mind what people think or say, most people don’t know what they are talking about. Do some research on how to run your own home and what to expect once you dive into the pool of the real world. Now when the moment comes you are primed, ready, educated with a steady and well paid job to go out there and buy your own apartment. This in turn will mean you are more confident financially which will lead to more success in finding a girlfriend/boyfriend and if you want, have some kids.

Stay with your parents as long as you can!

Good sleeping patterns

Be Sociable, Share!

I am going to tell you why having good sleeping patterns is so important for your health and leading a healthy lifestyle.

First of all sleep is vital, if you don’t get enough sleep you can die. So it is pretty accurate to state that having a irregular sleeping pattern can affect your health in so many diffrent ways. I am going to list some of these for you below. These are short and long term effects.

Short term:

  • Negative moods such as stress, anxiety and irritability
  • lack of concentration means you are more likely to have an accident and serious injury
  • Reduced short term memory
  • Digestion problems
  • More likely to stay up late the following night

Long term:

  • Chronic Depression
  • Hormonal imbalance(especially in teenagers)
  • Metabolism decreases which means fat gain
  • Fat cells as well as other cells in the body become immune to insulin release(insulin resistance) which means fat gain and ultimately diabetes because of the low glucose uptake in the body.

Good sleeping patterns

The average adult needs at least 7 hours of sleep each night while the average teen has to get at least 8.5 each night.

Good sleeping patterns are easy to achieve and if you find yourself in a bad pattern it doesn’t have to be all that difficult to turn things around. It might take one difficult night of staying up just so you can get into a normal sleeping pattern and ultimately lead a much healthier lifestyle.

Now if we take a look at the short term effects we see that irregular sleep affects your mood, concentration, memory and digestion all in a short period of time. What is alarming is that without concentration you are more likely to be involved in a serious accident. The mood swings can cause you to loose friends and hurting people and the lack of memorizing things means you will do worse at school and at work.

Long term effects are even worse. Depression can start to kick in and in some cases it wont go away. Hormones are a vital part of how the body functions and without them we would be a big mess. Hormones control what is being produced in the body and how much of that particular chemical. Teenagers have much higher active hormones because they are getting bigger and transforming into adults so they can’t afford any disruption in the hormone department.

Metabolism deacreases with irregular sleep and when your metabolism decreases your body is slower at processing the chemicals(as well as fat) from the foods and it is inevitable that you gain fat more fat then you would with normal metabolism from good sleeping patterns.

Insulin has the job of processing fat cells from the food so your body can change them into something other then fat but if you continue sleeping on irregular hours these cells can become immune to the insulin which will in turn make you gain fat.

Now this might all sound terrifying but it shouldnt because maintaining good sleeping patterns is very easy. It just takes little bit of effort to change things around and it’s easy to maintain it. Healthier body means more energy, positive emotions, less likely to have an accident and ultimately more motivated about the future.

Reasons to quit soda

Be Sociable, Share!

I am going to share with you guys some of the reasons to quit soda.

It was just 3 months ago when i decided i really should consider stop drinking soda. I have been free from it ever since and im so much happier, more energetic and optimistic about my life then i was back then. It was for several reasons i chose to do this :

Reasons to quit soda

Reasons to quit soda:

  • I was getting fat from all the sugar and empty calories
  • I was out of energy
  • I was unhappy/depressed
  • The cost
  • Digestion problems
  • Diabetes(self induced)

When i was at my peak of drinking soda i was chugging down at least 2 liters per day of my then beloved Coca Cola. It felt so good when i had my first sip of the day that i didn’t really care for anything else.

I must have probably gained around 44 lbs and i was out of my breath taking on a small pair of steps so i very often chose to take an elevator if there was one. Not only was i out of breath when walking up stairs or doing any kind of activity i was drained of energy just sitting at my desk on the computer. A normal can of soda includes sugar(and lots of it), water and empty calories which basically means food or drinks with calories but no vital chemicals that you need to be a healthy individual and ultimately happy.

Well i was feeling drained of energy and depressed so i guess you could say i was sad. I didn’t really think it was the soda and the sugar causing this and if im truly honest i think i didn’t want to believe it was the soda because it just tasted SOOOO good.

Now when we talk about the cost of soda it isn’t exactly cheap in the long run if you consider all the downsides. And even though you consider the upsides in my opinion there arent any except several minutes of energy kick which eventually leads to a downfall where you crave for more just to get into another energy kick and few seconds of good taste.

Now if we stop and look at what a normal 13.8 ounce can of soda contains:

  • Carbonated(fizzy) Water
  • 40.5 grams of sugar
  • Acids
  • Caffeine

11.5 % of a regular can of Coke Cola is sugar.

The acids in coke can and will ruin your stomach acids to the point where if it gets really bad you’ll have digestion problems because your stomach acids can’t fight the acids in the soda any longer.

The fact that people have self induced diabetes cause of soda and all the sugar is very true and diabetes is no laughing matter. Although overdosing on all the sugar in the soda will not directly cause diabetes it’s getting fat from it that will.

I hope i have informed you well with several reasons to quit soda so you can know the effects it has.

Example of a cheap exercise

Be Sociable, Share!

I want to talk to you about the best and most awesome cheap exercise if you want to be energetic, fit with toned muscles and most importantly happy. The exercise im talking about is of course jogging.

I used to be one of those people who spent a fortune on gym card just to find myself being a slouch at home 50% of my gym cards lifetime cause i wouldn’t bother showing up because i always told myself “i’ll just go tomorrow”.

You really should go outside jogging more for several good reasons:

  • It’s free
  • Alone time from other people/family
  • You decide when you want to go

Now when i say cheap exercise what i mean ofcourse is free exercise. Now jogging is an example of a cheap exercisepeople who have stressful jobs and when they get home they have to take care of the family often want some alone time on the computer when the kids are asleep or just alone time in general from people. The gym is full of people that are always clogging all the exercising machines and wasting your time.

What you should really do is plan an hour out of your day in the morning or right after work before you have to pick the kids up from school to go jogging with your favourite music on your ipod/mp3 player and mostly get rid of the stress that other people cause.

When it comes to cheap exercise there really isn’t a better one then jogging.
